The unallocated shifts feature alerts you to any shifts in your rosters that don’t have a worker assigned. This helps you identify gaps in coverage and take action before shifts are missed.

Viewing unallocated shifts

The unallocated shifts KPI on the home page dashboard shows the number of unallocated shifts across your rosters for the next 30 days. Unallocated KPI on dashboard You can review unallocated shifts in two ways:
  1. Quick access window - view the list directly from the dashboard
  2. Click the KPI tile - opens a detailed view where you can filter by date, time, roster ID, and client

Resolving unallocated shifts

Once you’ve identified unallocated shifts, you can:
  • Open the client roster and assign a worker directly
  • Use Roster invitations to send shift invitations to available workers
  • Use the Worker select button when editing the shift to find a suitable worker
For location roster shifts, set up an unallocated worker profile so location shifts also appear in the unallocated KPI. See Group activity rostering for setup instructions.
