# Client and worker map

> How to view client and worker locations on a map for rostering decisions

The client and worker map displays your clients and workers on a map based on their residential addresses. This helps with rostering decisions by showing proximity between workers and clients.

## Viewing the map

Go to **Operations** → **Client and Worker Map**.

### Map markers

* **Green pins** - worker addresses
* **Pink pins** - client addresses

<Note>The map shows residential addresses only and does not display live locations. An address needs to be set up on the client or worker profile for it to appear on the map.</Note>

## Using the map for rostering

The map is useful for:

* Identifying which workers live closest to a client
* Planning rosters to minimise travel time between shifts
* Reviewing geographic coverage across your service area

<Tip>For distance information during rostering, the [worker select button](/scheduling/worker-select-button) shows the distance in kilometres from the client's address to each available worker.</Tip>
